INFORMATION
This is a fun-filled weekend for family and friends to come out, relax, and have a good stress free time. I ask those that attend treat the property and attendees with the upmost respect as you would expect for yourself and your property. There will be tons of activities all weekend including LIVE Music, Corn-Hole Tournament, Chili Cook-off, Bonfires every night, Volleyball, Poker Run, and 4 wheeling. Some of these events have an entry fee. Credit and debit cards will be accepted for all Weekend in the Country events and merch at our booth, but other vendors may not, so don't forget to bring cash. This is a Kid Friendly event. See Schedule for full list and times.

Camping in travel trailers, motor homes, and tents are the plan for most, but there are hotels 20 miles away in Palestine, Texas. Campers/Rv's are an additional charge. Many people rent travel trailers from places like RV Share online for between 70-150 a day. Many of these rentals if made locally will drop off and set up for you. Make sure you have a generator or are prepared for primitive camping as there is no power or water in camping areas. The ranch is about 2 hours from Houston or Dallas so day trips are also possible from the big cities. There will be port a pots and a bath room with shower available in the barn. If you wish to order your own personal port a pot for your camping area, call Depend-A-Can directly at 903-729-4657 and have them add to Cowham Ranch order.

The event is Rain or Shine. There are plenty of covered areas in case of rain including the large pavilion around the stage, the barn, and patios around the houses. We also have several large party tents that will be put up if there is rain in the forecast.

There will be 2 food trucks that will have meals available for cash sale.
Food vendors will be open from 4p-9pThur, 9a-9p Fri, 9a-9p Sat, & 9a-12p Sun.
Alcohol will not be sold at the event, so plan accordingly as there are no stores close by. (No Glass)
Don't forget about the chili cook off on Saturday. Bring your chili entries and win bragging rites, a trophy, and prizes. See Chili Cook-Off under the activities tab for more details.

There will be fires by the stage and a bonfire each night after the concert. If you intend to have a personal fire for your group or by your campsite you must supply your own firewood and something to contain the fire (fire ring or pit). Do not throw trash or cans in the fires as they do not ever completely melt and must be cleaned up after the event.

There will be a large dumpster available to use with trash cans spread throughout the venue. So please pick up any trash and dispose of it properly. Any littering will be grounds for immediate removal from the event.

Feel free to bring 4 wheelers, golf carts, and dirt bikes to get around on and to enjoy on the trails. Off highway vehicles will be an additional charge. We ask that you ride responsibly and keep speeds down, especially around camping and entertainment areas. There is to be no spinning of tires, rooster tailing, or donuts as this is dangerous and destroys the trails and pastures creating lots of work and erosion problems. This is not a Mud Park!

The gun range will NOT be open during the event.

We will again do the corn hole tournament on Saturday for cash money. If you have cornhole boards and bags please bring them, as the more sets we have the faster the brackets will go. See schedule for information. Sign up will be done at the Merch Booth.

Waivers MUST be signed by every person who enters the gate. All persons under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must sign their waiver assuming responsibility for the minor. Any person who does not sign a waiver will be considered trespassing.

Cowham Ranch, its owners, and representatives are NOT liable for any injuries, loss, or damages that may occur! Come at your own risk and think SAFETY for yourself and others. Unsafe activity will not be tolerated and will result in ejection. Cowham Ranch and its representatives reserve the right to remove anyone from the property for any reason.
